Quintin Sykes leads Cornerstone’s Technology Solutions group and has over 30 years of technology and operations experience in financial services companies. His prior consulting practice leadership roles include president of Crescent Consulting Group, LLC and VP/community practice leader for Hitachi Consulting’s U.S. Financial Services practice.

Quintin has provided regional and top 25 financial institutions with advisory services including technology, digital and analytics strategy; system selection; contract negotiation; system integration; and merger integration services. He has also provided advisory services to fintech providers in core processing, digital and analytics market segments.

While in the banking industry, Quintin served as EVP/CIO of The South Financial Group, a $15 billion financial services company, with corporate-wide responsibilities including application development and support, project management, technology governance and planning, and data center/ infrastructure operations. Prior to becoming CIO, Quintin managed the bank’s item processing and electronic banking groups and served as its director of technology ventures, advising the bank’s fintech investment portfolio companies. Before rejoining The South Financial Group, Quintin was a principal consultant in the Financial Services Industry Practice of Price Waterhouse LLP.

Quintin holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, N.C.
